Amazonian forest and Pampa
Rurrenabaque – Chalalan Camp - Bala Camp

Discovery 6 days   from April to November   Private

Spanish or English speaking guide

Along the way…

This unique program leads us to discover the wealth and unequaled diversity of the Madidi National Park and surrounding areas, from the town of Rurrenabaque, base camp for all the excursions.
Chalalan is an ecological camp located in the middle of the Amazonian primary forest on the shores of a lake. Located at the heart of the Madidi National Park, it is solely accessible by pirogue following Río Tuichi uphill, rio crossing the park from one end to the other. The warm welcome of the Uchupiamonas local inhabitants (this is the most successful ecological development, including local populations to this day) and the excellent quality of the lodges in which you will stay will allow you to discover this marvel of nature in the best conditions possible.

We then take the direction of Bala, set up on the shores of Rio Yacuma, in the middle of the Amazonian pampa. This Eco-lodge recently built offers all the amenities (mosquito nets, toilets and showers) while respecting the environment, which makes it the best and most comfortable place to stay in the area. The excursions will be done in the company of a local guide knowing well this milieu rich in wild animals: capihuaras, caimans, tapirs, anteaters, howling monkeys, toucans, marabous, and anacondas…  Nature shows us here its most exuberant form. Could it be the Paradise on earth?
